Job Description:

AdMedia is currently seeking a motivated Senior LAMP Developer to manage existing websites as well as develop new features and maintain tools and systems. Our ideal candidate is someone with at least 3 years of experience developing websites. This is a remote position and requires the ability to plan, multi-task, and follow through on projects. Responsibilities include site operations support and the ongoing development and maintenance of web content.
 

Key Skills:

Expert in hand-coding PHP, MySQL, Agile, AJAX, Flash, XML, Perl, and Shell scripting
 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely
  • Must have 5+ years working experience in Online Search Advertising code environment
  • Masters in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is preferred
  • Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, XML, Apache and Linux servers along with frontend development using Javascript, jQuery, and other libraries
  • Knowledge of design patterns, composition, and object-oriented development
  • Experience working with APIs, both integrating a third-party API and creating your own when necessary (Oath, Facebook, Twitter, Google API experience preferred)
  • Ability to build custom REST API's
  • Experience designing relational databases and queries
  • Experience in Memcache, Redis or similar caching technology
  • Experience integrating PHP into a full-stack environment
  • Ability to write JS/HTML/CSS
  • Advanced knowledge of building Content Management Systems, either from your own design or from frameworks using CodeIgniter
  • Expert knowledge of LAMP, MySQL database, PHP, AJAX, and XML
  • Experience with MySQL database server configuration and maintenance
  • Expert knowledge with Linux, and Apache
  • Excellent communications and organizational skills
  • 24/7 on-call for emergency response, disaster recovery
